Exit Financing Trends, Restructuring Activity in Current Economy, Consensual Releases Post-Perdue and More to Be Discussed at ABI's New York City Bankruptcy Conference on June 17

Alexandria, Va. — The American Bankruptcy Institute’s (ABI’s) popular New York City Bankruptcy Conference is scheduled for June 17 at the New York Hilton Midtown in Manhattan. The day-long conference brings together a faculty of New York-area bankruptcy judges with practitioners from the top national insolvency firms in the New York metro area to discuss timely bankruptcy issues. The conference features an expanded workshop format: Each of the six concurrent breakout sessions will be presented twice with modified panelists, offering attendees varying points of view on the same topic. Additionally, a judges’ roundtable featuring a panel of bankruptcy judges from the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York will discuss current bankruptcy case developments.

Approval for up to 9 hours of general CLE credit, including up to 1.2 hours of ethics, is pending.

Todd M. Goren of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP and Leon Szlezinger of Jefferies are the program chairs for the conference. Bankruptcy Judge Hon. Lisa G. Beckerman (S.D.N.Y.; New York) serves as the judicial chair.
