2016 was a busy year for the Business Reorganization Committee. We have an active and involved membership base, and took part in multiple panels, newsletters, publications and networking. We have terrific plans for 2017 and beyond in support of you, our members, in the arena of business reorganizations.

The Labor and Employment Committee has continued to remain at the forefront of the intersection of labor and employment issues and bankruptcy in its continuing effort to keep its members well-informed as they navigate these issues.
Although 2016 has lacked the massive, transnational bankruptcies that the Great Recession gave us, it has provided its own poignant reminders of how interconnected countries and economies can be. It’s been another great year for the Real Estate Committee. First, as co-chairs, we would like to thank its members for their support and continued participation on the Real Estate Committee for 2016. The committee is really only as good as its members and their contributions.
The Commercial Fraud Committee had a productive year, producing three webinars, six newsletters, several case law eblasts, and the continuation of the committee-wide conference call program with four calls this year.
The Unsecured Trade Creditors Committee (UTC) was hard at work once again in 2016.
